| SPOKANE'S MANITO JAPANESE GARDENS This is the last painting of the "Spokane in Fall" series. I chose the Manito Japanese Gardens because of their beauty and tranquillity. I love the reflection in the pond, the white of the bridge, the contrast in textures from the rocks to the trees. This content however is very different for me; there is so much activity and color every where. I utilized two new techniques which also created a challenge. I am pleased with the results and hope you enjoy this new and final piece of the series. |
